Mickel
Yantz was born a few miles from the northwest point of Washington
State on the Olympic Peninsula. Mickel has a Bachelors degree in
Fine Arts, Anthropology and a Masters in Museum Studies. He has been
involved in art galleries and museums since 1995 when we a community art gallery at his
college. Today, Mickel is a museum curator and artist based in
Tahlequah, OK. He focuses on mixed media sculptures of fine woods and
sand carved glass.
